First night

in the new apartment ended at 6.30 in the morning, much much earlier than I usually wake up. Because we are the proud owners of a flight corridor above our heads. And it's not just an ordinary corridor, it's that special part where airplanes prepare to land or take off.
Aren't airplanes just fantastic? They never cease to amaze me. And I am so happy, as I will be lucky to be amazed every morning, night and day for the next 3 years.

I will even create a new tag, 'airplane', as I'm sure I will come back on this topic.

p.s. wondering how I have Internet? Well we made a new subscription from another company and we'll try to end the other contract. Life in Belgium is sometimes so exciting!

Address changed

If you want to write me a postcard or a letter, you'll have to ask for the new address. Cause starting with today the monkeys are living in a brand new apartment. Busy week coming, as we have to buy everything, furniture and stuff. And no internet as our internet provider needs 3 weeks to make the transfer. Great, isn't it?
Well, wake me up when september ends.

this neverending job. just when you thought it's over, another dirty plate comes back to the sink laughing in your face. is this my OCD?
it would be interesting to find out every woman's (cause men are out of this discussion by default) system when washing the dishes. prepare the big washing by soaking them immediately after they got to the sink like I do? wash them one by one or putting detergent on more items and afterwards rinsing them together? hm, long discussion.

Where home is

After our first 7 months here in Brussels, with only some short recreational trips, we decided to close the shop, pack our bags and go back to the roots to see some dear faces. So we spent last week in Romania, a very compressed week with a lot of things to do. I also had to squeeze in my 10 years highschool reunion.
It was very nice to see everybody and catch up a little, now missing them even more. It was also very interesting to see where we left from with an objective eye - and I won't get into that right now :)
I was a bit afraid of this moment, as I was thinking that once I go back to Romania, I won't want to come back. But to my surprise I realised that I missed our little apartment here in Belgium, our everyday life as it is right now, so I can say that I have a new home, which is here. That doesn't mean I won't feel like home when I go to Bucharest or Resita, my hometown. Can't I have more homes? Of course I can.
